Egg donation in Athens with EMBIO

The following patient story was submitted by Lucy I, of the UK, who travelled to Athens for infertility treatment with EMBIO.

Like many other women, I had problems with endometriosis, and so I could not conceive a child naturally. As you know, for a woman that’s a very bad thing. Who doesn’t want to be mum?

I never lost hope and decided to try with egg donation, the only solution to my problem. After 2 failed attempts in Spain, my husband and I had almost lost hope, until one day, surfing the net, I saw in a forum the review of a couple who had been at EMBIO Athens and spoke very well of their experience.

We visited EMBIO and took the first contacts with the IVF coordinator, who together with the medical team have demonstrated professionalism and sensitivity taking care of our problem.

What I can I say about this center: the costs are lower than in Spain, there are no waiting lists, they respond quickly to emails and they are all very kind.

After the first attempt, I am now 5 months pregnant with a boy, and despite the late pregnancy, they’re still on my side, following my pregnancy by email. We owe our happiness to them, our desire finally came true, and I want all women to know that there are serious fertility centers such as Embio willing to help couples in trouble and above all, to give everyone the opportunity to be parents. Never lose hope!
